Our Yuzu Gin is made yuzing a combination of distillation techniques to create the bold flavors Skaalvenn Distillery has become known for. We didn’t spend the last 10 years distilling great spirits to create something plain or ordinary!
Japanese Yuzu is macerated and vapor distilled in our pot still along with other fresh gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander, lemon, orange, and angelica root. The result is a gin that resembles a London Dry style, but with the unmistakable aroma and taste of Yuzu.
Not familiar with Yuzu? It’s an exotic hybrid citrus that is extremely popular in japan where most of it’s value is in the extremely aromatic peels and juice. Yuzu can be described as one of the most exotic and complex of all citrus fruits, a perfect harmony of sweet lemon, lime, and grapefruit.

Our Minnesota made Aquavit is a modern take on a classic Norwegian spirit. In our Skaalvenn family, she’s the rebel who embodies the Viking strength her ancestors are famous for. Distilled from wheat and flavored with caraway, fennel, orange peel, and awkwardly hugged by 3 types of oak.

This smooth, sipping bourbon is distilled in Indiana, bottled in Minnesota, and like many snowbirds in the winter, aged in a warm climate. Aged a minimum of 3 years (usually more) with a mash bill of 74% corn, 21% rye, 5% malted barley.
Bottled at 90 proof, it’s the perfect balance between of heat yet still having plenty of flavor to sip neat.
Skaalvenn Bourbon works perfect for most whiskey cocktails.
